Glass fibre rod length 50 m / diameter 4.5 mm / incl. transmitter head. The transmitter and receiver of the line locating system are not included.

Description

Easy locating, securing before digging up

The locating probe rod is a logical addition to the vScan locating system because it can be used to locate not only metallic but also non-conductive plastic lines. Thanks to the very small and firmly mounted transmitter head, the 5045i locating probe rod can in principle be used with any locating system.

Application

The very flexible and shear-resistant locating probe rod is inserted into plastic pipes and excited with a transmitter. This allows the pipe to be located with a pipe locating system, e.g. the vScan. The signal can be determined down to a depth of several meters, depending on the pipe location system and the local and structural conditions. For the exact location of the tip of the locating probe rod (and thus e.g. T-pieces, outlets, blockages), the transmitter head can be excited with a transmitter. The magnetic field is particularly strong there and can therefore be located very clearly.
